There are various spacious lounges which provide communal spaces for residents to relax, socialise, take in a movie, catch up on the news, or listen to their favourite songs/tunes/music.   For those who prefer quiet contemplation, reading or simply watching village life, the sunlounge provides that tranquillity.

Our residents can enjoy our beautiful gardens with stunning views of the countryside. Our lovely conservatory, perfect for reading or socialising in the sunlight with panoramic views, is loved by our residents and can be booked out for family visits and celebrations at any time. Our extensive gardens are filled with colour and visiting wildlife.

Dining out at The Ingleborough

Proper nutrition is essential for well-being. At The Ingleborough, all meals are home-cooked and prepared daily by our Head Chef using fresh ingredients.  We understand that serving delicious and nutritious meals plays a key role in maintaining health, and our commitment to high-quality food reflects our dedication to enhancing the lives of our residents.

Whether you prefer three hearty meals each day or smaller, more frequent snacks, our talented chefs at The Ingleborough are dedicated to providing nutritious meals that cater to your tastes and preferences.  Tastes and aromas of childhood favourites are regularly incorporated in our menus.

We cater to all dietary needs, whether that be low sodium, coeliac, gluten free, low fat, vegetarian or vegan and specialise in meals for people with chewing and swallowing problems. 

Our staff receive training and support to ensure everyone enjoys a balanced diet in a supportive environment.

Social Activities and Entertainment

You can continue engaging in the activities you love, supported by our dedicated activities team, who are trained to cater to your individual preferences. Whatever your interests, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Spend quality time with family and friends in our beautiful garden or participate in various organized events.

We host regular meetings with residents and families to gather input and ensure a wide range of resident-led activities is available. Our activities calendar is filled with games, art sessions, outings, and entertainment.  Welcome visiting dogs for residents who find comfort from animal therapy.  There’s always something exciting happening!
